I know this is sideways. It is the piece that currently is at the Urban Edge in Waukegan. Really it was a stencil/tracing used for a larger piece that will be a painting. It is called Sometimes I See.
Now if I could only figure out how to get photos from my new phone on to my blog. One thing at a time.

Dropped off art at the Urban Edge Gallery in Waukegan opening was last Saturday. I can't believe I didn't even take a photo of my piece. Oh my.
Next work on Angel drawings. I have come full circle---I am drawing again with prismacolor pencils. My favorite media in 1984-1991. Yes I have been drawing for a very long time. Totally switched to watercolor in 1992. AND love my collages that I started in 2007.
Don't have images of any of my old prisma color drawings on my computer. Here's a painting from 2002.

1,000 Angels
January is almost gone. It went fast and slow at the same time. My 2012 project is to do 1,000 angels. Why would I do this? Because I want to see how many angels I can create in one year. This may be a three year project!
Do you like them better with or without faces?
As I traveled through January my angel count included angels from 2011. Here are a few that I am working on. Should I scan all that I do in 2012?
I also have angels to scan for Sandie Bacon. We have painted together a couple times in January at Barbara Trentham's Studio. What a great art retreat place! Thank you Barbara.

Christmas is Coming!
So much to do and so little time. Then Christmas comes and everything that was on my list to do list for this year goes on next years list. That is my explation for not doing Christmas cards. The race to Christmas eve. This year during Advent I want to spend more time with my family and less time running around like a crazy woman. Which is what I do all year long. Here's my angel from yesterday at the studio. Only there for an hour---feels so good to stop and do some art.
She is a glitter pink watercolor.
And she is a red ink angel elf.
It's Tuesday night. Movie night. More tomorrow.
